Why revisit this field again? Quite simply there have been too many cases where I’ve been to see a client who happens to mention frustration over a recent purchase from a discount retailer. The end result is most often something that doesn’t work as desired/ hoped for. Unfortunately the harsh reality is that the discount retailer makes no bones about the fact that don’t offer any support or service other than maybe helping you to the checkout. So while I cringe at the existence of such retailers the fact of the matter is they are giving exactly what they promised, it’s up to you the buyer to do your homework and if you’re likely to need/want a greater level of support then choose to buy from those who live to provide this type of service. The dilemma is everyone wants great service, considered product advice and an ongoing helping hand but very few want to pay the costs associated with being able to provide that level of service.
Over the past few months I’ve teamed up with some ‘old’ colleagues to be able to provide a range of services for those who are interested getting the best results for their hard earned dollars.
1. I’m now happy to be distributing Kordz interconnect cables and associated accessories.
Kordz, an all Australian company, are world leaders in the design and manufacture of HDMI and other interconnect cables. Their products are first class and great value for money. HDMI, while a fabulous technology, will bring you to your knees if not done well and poor quality cabling is often the cause of picture failures.
