Our holdings encompass broadacre land projects, master planned communities, completed house and land packages and apartments, with our portfolio to grow to over 50 communities by 2025. To further strengthen the group’s capabilities and expertise, AVID purchased leading residential builder Villaworld Homes in 2019. This collaboration has provided further opportunities for customers seeking greater peace of mind, and a simpler way to buy a brand-new home in a meticulously designed neighbourhood.

In 2019, AVID Property Group acquired ASX-listed Villa World Limited. This extended our land holdings, added home construction to our portfolio, and allowed us to drastically expand our collection of communities, in just a few years, thus ensuring continued diversity and growth of our company.

Acknowledging our combined expertise, we created Villaworld Homes by AVID Property Group, enabling our customers to fulfil their dream through one convenient contractual relationship.

UDIA Award Winners

AVID Property Group is proud of all the many awards and honours our communities have received over the years. Our crowning achievement however came in 2023 when the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) named ‘Harmony’ our flagship community on the Sunshine Coast, Australia’s Project of the Year and Best Masterplanned Community.

Acknowledging Harmony as the nation’s most outstanding project, the UDIA judges recognised AVID’s commitment to creating quality communities that are built on innovation and connection, setting new benchmarks, and establishing a strong, sustainable and positive legacy for the future.

“AVID’s Harmony is a well-executed master planned development with its exceptional approach to layouts and landscaping , diverse range of housing typology and retail and social infrastructure creating a holistic community.”

Judges Citation

The judges’ assessment of Harmony included highlighting key attributes of the community, making comment on its strong planning and forethought for development of the masterplan, with a clear and cohesive roll out for future delivery. With commitment to community engagements through the early appointment of a community development officer, innovative solutions for greenspace with their inclusion of the Grand Linear Park, consideration for the delivery of environmental measures and a diverse range of housing solutions, Harmony exhibits the hallmarks of community, destined for continued success of delivery into the future.
