AVID Property Group (AVID) is proud to have supported Collingwood Football Club throughout the 2020 season, as co-major partner for the club’s AFLW side.

AVID General Manager Victoria Peter Vlitas said the 2020 partnership had been very successful and provided a unique opportunity to share the common values of both AVID and Collingwood Football Club.

“Here at AVID we are committed to supporting local clubs and groups that bring people together,” Mr Vlitas said.

“The Collingwood AFLW team are fantastic role models, inspiring young athletes with community spirit and teamwork as the cornerstone of their success.

“As co-major partner of the Collingwood AFLW team we were thrilled to introduce the AVID brand to more than 4.7 million viewers through branding on new look home and away jersey’s, exposure via match day signage, national TV coverage, digital advertising and more.”

While the 2020 season was disrupted due to COVID-19, both AVID and Collingwood Football Club moved quickly to ensure AVID residents could continue to enjoy the benefits of the partnership.

“Although we were unable to welcome the team to our communities due to social distancing restrictions, players kept us in shape, taking us through their personal at-home workouts via social media,” Mr Vlitas said

“Additionally, the team generously donated a range of coveted Collingwood merchandise and Sherrin footballs as prizes for exclusive online competitions across our Victorian communities.

“We have loved being part of the energy, passion and commitment of Collingwood Football Club and wish the AFLW team all the best for a successful 2021 season – go the Pies!”
