The Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Management Team of AVID Property Group comprise some of the nation’s most experienced and innovative leaders across real estate development; business management; property and asset management; project financing and development; legal, risk, audit; and project sales and marketing future opportunities.
In 2016, AVID Property Group entered into a new ownership and funding arrangement with Proprium Capital Partners, a global private equity business. The strength of Proprium’s financial commitment will allow AVID Property Group to energetically pursue our growth and diversification strategy over the next five to ten years.
In October 2019, AVID acquired residential property developer Villa World which saw our portfolio of projects increase from 10 to 37. The combined business has strengthened our market share, positioning AVID as a key national property industry contributor with more than 12,000 residential lots across Australia’s eastern seaboard.

Cameron Holt
Chief Executive Officer
Cameron leads the overall strategic direction and operations of the AVID business. Cameron has more than 20 years’ experience in private sector and government roles. His experience across all property sectors includes joint venture projects and large-scale housing companies. Cameron holds a Master of Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma of Land Economics, Bachelor of Town Planning and holds Real Estate Agent licences in multiple jurisdictions. Cameron also sits on the Property Council of Australia’s Residential Development Council.
Karen Wells
Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer, Karen is responsible for the overall finance function of AVID Property Group. With more than 20 years’ experience, Karen has held senior positions working across multi-disciplinary teams within Australia and internationally, for organisations including Macquarie Group, KPMG, Société Générale, Port of Brisbane and Axicom. Karen is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of the Australian Institute for Company Directors.
Richard Amos
Group General Counsel
Richard is responsible for the legal and company secretarial functions of AVID Property Group. With more than 25 years’ experience, Richard is highly skilled in mergers and acquisitions and has worked across a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, retail, food and beverage, telecommunications and not-for-profits. Richard’s varied skill set has seen him hold senior and executive leadership positions at Myer, Lion, MARCS and Vodafone (UK). Richard also holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Economics with honours from the University of Sydney.
Colette O’Reilly
General Manager
People & Culture
Colette’s focus is on creating people practices that support and drive high performance and engagement for the business. Colette has over ten years’ experience in HR, holds a Professional Diploma in HR Management from Deakin University and is a Certified MBTI Practitioner.
Duncan Corness
General Manager WHSE
Duncan is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Work Health and Safety and Environmental (WHSE) Management System. Duncan has more than 20 years’ experience in WHSE, working across a variety of industry’s – both public and private – including construction, development, residential, retail, retirement living and aged care. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in OHS, and was recently the Chair of the Queensland Home Builders Safety Committee and a member of the MBAQ Safety Committee.
Bruce Harper
General Manager Queensland
Bruce oversees all projects in Queensland. He has a more than 30 years’ experience working in property development, holding CEO and senior executive roles in both the public and private sectors. Bruce holds Planning and Company Director qualifications and has been a member of industry groups including the UDIA, HIA and PIA, in addition to serving on a range of Government and industry advisory boards and committees. Bruce is also the current President of PCA Queensland.
Peter Wood
General Manager Housing
As the General Manager of Housing, Peter is responsible for managing the delivery of Villa World Homes across New South Wales and Queensland. With more than 40 years of experience Australian construction industry, Peter has an extensive and varied skill set which has seen him manage large scale residential projects across the eastern seaboard of Australia. Peter is an active Housing Industry Association (HIA) member and is currently the Vice President of HIA (QLD), a member of the HIA (QLD) Executive Committee and is also a member of the HIA (National) Membership Committee. He has previously been a member of the HIA National Technical committee, a position he has held for the past eight years. Peter is also a member of the Australian Institute of Building (MIAB).
Linda Walsh
General Manager
Marketing & Customer
At AVID, Linda is responsible for driving the business’ Group Marketing, Brand and Customer strategy. Linda possesses over 25 years’ experience in the Property Industry. She is a member of a number of industry associations including, the Customer Service Institute of Australia, and currently sits on the PCA’s Residential Development Council, the UDIA NSW Council Executive Secretary and Council and is the Chair of the UDIA NSW Diversity and Inclusion committee. Linda holds a Graduate Certificate in Marketing, Master of Marketing, Master of Business, a NSW real estate agents licence, and is an Associate Member of the AMI and is a Certified Practising Marketer.
Spiro Prevezanos
General Manager
Capital Transactions
Spiro manages acquisitions for the company’s national portfolio. With more than 18 years’ experience working across all aspects of business development, Spiro brings a solid understanding of major Australian markets and previously led business development activities for Crown Group and Stockland. His work has included the acquisition and disposal of major mixed use, high density residential sites, commercial assets and masterplanned residential community projects. He is a Qualified Real Estate Valuer and an associate member of the Australian Property Institute.
Helen Rouhotas
General Manager Business Operations
At AVID, Helen is responsible for the Information Technology function and leads the implementation of business and technology enabled projects, improving efficiency among processes and systems, while managing risk. With more than 25 years’ experience growing businesses across Australia and South Africa, Helen has worked across a variety of industries including finance, technology, insurance, property, media and government. She also holds an MBA specialising in strategy from Heriot-Watt University, several postgraduate degrees in Psychology and is a certified Project Management Professional.
Manuel Lang
General Manager
Land Lease Communities
At AVID, Manuel is responsible for the establishment of the business’ lifestyle communities offering. With more than 16 years’ experience, Manuel has worked across a range of sectors including banking and finance, commercial property, residential aged care and building and construction. Manuel brings a wealth of knowledge in lifestyle communities to the business having spent nine years as CEO of retirement organisation Palm Lake Group. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics.
Nathan Huon
Project Director
New South Wales
Nathan manages the business’ projects in New South Wales. He has more than 25 years’ experience delivering a variety of projects in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the company, Nathan was Senior Project Manager at Cardno, where he worked on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. Nathan holds an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in Building (Construction Economics) and a Masters in Property Development.
Holly Brennan
National Sales Manager
With more than two decades of experience in real estate, Holly has extensive experience in sales management, account management, sales and corporate leasing and relationship management. Holly leads the national sales strategic direction for AVID, driving best practice to empower the national sales teams to drive sales growth and to build a market leading sales force. After transitioning from commercial property to the residential property sector in 2014, Holly has refined her knowledge of the sales discipline specifically for greenfield developments. Holly holds a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University and a NSW Real Estate Licence (Class 1).
Danny Boubli
Project Director Apartments
Danny manages the business’ apartment developments across the country. He has more than 30 years’ experience in urban development working on all sides and stages of residential land and apartment projects for Mirvac, Leighton Properties, Aust-Equity Properties and Alchemy Developments. Danny holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours and has qualifications in project management and building. He has also been a member of the Urban Taskforce and committee member of the UDIA.
Anthony Demiris
Project Director QLD
With more than 17 years’ experience in the property and finance industries, Anthony has a vast understanding of large-scale property developments from his work on projects both nationally and internationally. Anthony’s knowledge and negotiation acumen gained working in investment banking and in corporate mergers and acquisitions has enabled him to bring exceptional financial skills to his role on large scale development projects. Anthony holds degrees in Commerce and International Business as well as a Masters Degree in Finance As Project Director Anthony now leads the Queensland Developments business . Prior to joining AVID Property Group, Anthony worked in Macquarie Group’s Global Real Estate Division and Deloitte Australia’s Mergers and Acquisitions teams.
